Learning Data Structures

I never took a class on data structures in college. So every time I ran to some kind of data structure discussions, I always had to struggle to understand all those concepts of lists and trees.  But last night, I came across this wonderful YouTube play-list from UC-Berkley on data structures. The professor is really good. I highly recommend someone like me, who is a Non-CS major but wants to understand the mysterious world of data structures, to watch the videos. The total length is around 30 hours. Lets learn some data structures this summer

To keep me in track!

It's just the middle of 2012, but I feel the need to set some resolutions for the rest of the year. I am done with my masters and got a job with Siemens. So I will be going through a big change in my life. So that's why I want to set some resolutions to keep me on track!

First, I really want to be in a good position in Siemens, so that I can get a better deal in six months from now!

Second, getting fit so that I can run 5 miles at a stretch.

Third, get better in Turkish

Fourth, be serious with photography

Fifth, learn Ukulele

Sixth, join an open source project.

Done with school! (Forever?)

So, yesterday I had my last class as a masters student. Its a little different feeling. I am happy and sad at the same time. I also had my last CC meeting yesterday. I got my OPT approved and probably I am going to start with Siemens from June 18th. I am really excited about this. This is very close to what I wanted to do!

And I got my car. Thanks to Texas Cowboys, they are bringing it here next Friday. Hope that they bring it here in a piece!
